Organic wines and island traditions.

Set within the Ibizan countryside outside San Antonio Town, Can Rich brings together agriculture, heritage and production through a family-run approach that has evolved steadily since 1997. Its activity began with the planting of 17 hectares of vineyards, combining traditional local grape varieties with selected international ones, alongside 300 olive trees. Two years later, the winery was established, introducing modern production techniques while maintaining a clear connection to the terroir.

Expansion followed in 2007 with a second estate located in the Ses Salines Natural Park. This additional site saw the planting of six hectares of native Ibizan grape varieties and close to 3,000 olive trees, reinforcing the estate’s commitment to local agriculture within a protected natural setting.

Across its range, Can Rich produces organic wines, traditional Ibizan spirits and a selection of agricultural products. These include the island’s well-known hierbas ibicencas, as well as café caleta and vermouth. Alongside these, the estate also produces organic extra virgin olive oil, vinegar and sea salt sourced from the surrounding environment.

The winery’s production philosophy draws on Ibiza’s historical relationship with viticulture, acknowledging the influence of the Phoenicians, who first introduced vine cultivation to the island. This perspective informs both the winemaking process and the broader identity of the estate, where organic farming methods play a central role. Can Rich was among the early adopters of organic practices in Ibiza, applying them consistently across its vineyards and production.

Visitors can experience the estate through a structured visit that includes a walk through the vineyards, a guided tour of the winery and a tasting session. This concludes with a selection of local products, including pan payés (farmer’s bread), extra virgin olive oil and Ibizan hierbas.
