Mira Lounge is an intimate cocktail bar and social space in the village of San Miguel that occupies the former Mira by Gathering restaurant, now reimagined as a sophisticated lounge where cocktails, food, music and art converge.
The space blends the easygoing ambiance of a private members’ club with all the homely warmth of a living room. Low sofas, coffee tables, cushions and soft furnishings invite guests to settle in for the evening, surrounded by striking artworks from the neighbouring gallery.
Inspired by the lounge culture of cities such as New York and London, Mira Lounge is designed for long, unhurried evenings. Alongside the cocktails, chess boards and backgammon tables recall the timeless tradition of gathering over games, conversation and shared moments. The relaxed layout lends itself equally to pre-dinner drinks, extended evenings with friends or late-night cocktails.
The drinks programme is overseen by Fernando Leo Navarro, whose menu combines technical precision with creative flair. Signature creations sit alongside expertly executed classics, accompanied by a carefully curated wine list.
The food offering, under the expert guidance of Tiago Borges, Food & Beverage Director of Stevie alla Bottega, draws inspiration from Asian cuisine and focuses on shareable plates that are imaginative without being intimidating. Designed for informal dining, the menu is built around flavour, balance and sociable eating.
On Sundays, Mira Lounge hosts Sofa Sessions, where established local DJs play extended sets from the comfort of the lounge itself. The combination of music, cocktails and a relaxed atmosphere has made it a social hotspot in the north of Ibiza.
Founded by New Yorker Stevie Benanty, Mira Lounge reflects a genuine passion for hospitality, design, music and meaningful social connection. The result is a venue that brings together several of the island's creative worlds under one roof, offering an experience that feels both cosmopolitan and unmistakably Ibizan.
