Staying in Ibiza Town in style

The heart of the city

What hasn't Ibiza Town got going for it as a place to stay? Being the island's capital, you will see an international and cosmopolitan bunch of people who are either visiting or living here. You also get the island's greatest concentration of glamour, fine restaurants and bars with life (especially during summer) extending through the day and night. Did we also mention that Ibiza Town has a medieval citadel, has great museums and culture, boasts a huge harbour and is home to one of the world's biggest club brands? Yes, there is much here.

In fact, there's so much we could tell you about Ibiza Town and all the things that you could do there, that we could write a guide on it, oh hang on... The pluses for staying here are immediate and obvious: you have everything in one space and you can easily get to anywhere on the island. You can get to all the super clubs quickly with Playa d'en Bossa next door and San Rafael or San Antonio quickly reached via the island's fastest highway.

There are no real beaches in the town, but walk around the citadel of Dalt Vila high on the hill, and you'll see some truly striking views of the Med and the rest of the town. You are also close to beaches like the one at Talamanca and Las Salinas is but a short car or bus trip away. A lot of places in Ibiza Town are open all year round and you will get much cheaper rates if you want to come in winter, which might be a good option. Do remember, that whilst Ibiza can be enjoyed all year round, summer is the time when there are the most things to do, so be sure that when you do come that the things you want to will be available.

We've selected a number of hotels for superior levels of comfort that are centred around Ibiza Town itself, so you can enjoy this noble Mediterranean city in style.
