Make no mistake, this week is really all about Amnesia. After the fantastic opening of Cream last week, it´s now the turn of the other big nights to open their doors.
Monday is the return of Sven Vath and the monster that is Cocoon, one of the biggest parties in Ibiza and guaranteed to twist you inside and out, and then some. With a heavy tech soundtrack and some very hardcore clubbers, this is not for the fainthearted !
Tuesday 16 June at Amnesia sees the newly crowned World No 1 DJ, Armin van Buuren, back in business with Armada – one of the best trance nights on the island.
For the opening, Armin is joined by Markus Schulz and Marco V in the main room, while the ´terraza´ has a new house flavour to it, brought to Contact and including dj´s Kurd Maverick and Martijn ten Velden for the opening.
Made In Italy is back this year, promising another year of tribal tech-house in the terrace, while Espuma – the long running foam party – takes place in the main room.
But maybe the biggest opening party of the week takes place on Friday 20 June, as the legendary Manumission returns for their first full season at Amnesia.
This will be one season to watch and enjoy Manumission as they make full use of the newly renovated and updated terrace. We are expecting a great summer and these guys really know how to put on a great party. Full preview to follow.
Over the road at Privilege, Monza open up on Thursday 19 June – looking to build on the success they enjoyed last year. M.A.N.D.Y. will be ready to get things off to a great start.
Finally, the party of the week is usually on the Sunday and after an awesome opening party at the weekend, We Love Space is now back in the groove.
This coming Sunday 22 June, make a trip to Space to see some of the finest dj´s in dance, including Tiefschwarz, Paul Woolford (right), DJ Mehdi & Busy P and the Streetlife DJ´s.
