The term "Fallas" refers both to the celebration and the effigies created for the celebration, which are intricately constructed papier mache images, going up in flames in front of a big crowd.
The Valencianos living here dress in their traditional intricate & beautiful costumes & come together to celebrate the construction & burning of the "Fallas".
Lots of loud fireworks throughout the day, entertainment for kids and procession through the streets and kids' adult fallas burning.
Organized by the Valencia Cultural Association of San Antonio and taking place in the area between the fruit and vegetable market and the car park.
