The weekend of 9th to 11th of May sees the Medieval Festival taking place in the historic walled confines of Dalt Vila in Ibiza old town.
Held to celebrate Ibiza's status as a World Heritage city, the festival shows a slice of medieval life as it was in the multicultural middle ages when Christians, Jews, and Muslims inhabited the city.
Over 100,000 people are expected to pass through the giant gates of the old
town to witness the artisans' stalls, traditional craftwork, old musical instruments
and groups of strolling singers.
