Returning to their spiritual home of Store Street for this season's merriments, The Warehouse Project has pulled out all the stops to bring in 2015 with a bang! I went to WHP for New Year's Eve last year and the atmosphere was next level. This year Bristolian and house music's funny-man Eats Everything is heading the bill alongside Heidi, Huxley and Skream who is no stranger to the Store Street DJ booth, having appeared on the WHP line-up twice this winter already. Brace yourselves for this one, the party goes waaaaay beyond the midnight countdown.

Floating Points, recognised for sourcing the freshest new music and his sundry song selections, will be making his Room 1 debut alongside Gerd Janson and Move D. Nice one, Canal Mills.

Liverpudlian Yousef has invited the likes of Detroit Swindle and Hot Creation's diamond Richy Ahmed to help celebrate 2015 in style at his prestigious Circus party. Cat-loving Coyu (who brought his weekly Suara events to Booom! Ibiza last season) will also be taking to the turntables - cats not included. Rounding off the stellar line-up is American Kerri Chandler who is frequently acknowledged as one of the original deep house music creators. The Halloween edition of Circus saw Yousef don a S&M Sesame Street costume so this really is a night where anything goes!

Across the North in Newcastle, Shindig are throwing a special New Year's Day edition of MK's Area 10 event and it's no surprise he's invited an array of talented music maestros to join him including Kevin Saunderson, Jaymo & Andy George, Cristoph, Mark Lowry and Steven Dunn. It's been a hard year to ignore MK thanks to his recent remix of Wankelmut and Emma Louise's My Head is a Jungle. His successful edit entered the charts at number five and sent dance floors in to a two-stepping frenzy from Ibiza to festivals all around the world and back again. No doubt he's planning to stir up the same shuffling-fever-pitch in the North East on January 1st.
