Weather isn't the only thing heating up the island this week, the party calendar has confirmed that the heat wave will be rolling through the clubs as we have spotted multiple sizzling hot line ups ahead. Peak season is finally kicking off as no compromises were reached when trying to narrow down our highlights this week to only three. Six is the lucky number, making this ‘Pick Of The Week' our biggest one yet!
Unsure if we can do it ourselves we challenge YOU to our first ever Spotlight challenge! Armin Van Buuren pres. A State Of Trance at Ushuaïa
Thursday 7th August
One of the hearts of every season, Armin Van Buuren takes us on a very special journey of trance this week at Ushuaïa. His one and only solo set's this season, A State Of Trance is going to be an incredible experience as crowds will get watch the sunset over this much awaited performance. Last year, Armin recorded Universal Religion : Chapter 7 during his annual solo set at Privilege. This gave the audience a chance to carry a piece of this night with them forever. We can't help but wonder if he will be doing the same this week during his six hour set at Ushuaïa. This is definitely one you don't want to miss.

Thursday 7th August
Siestas are mandatory this week, so rest up before the fire continues right across the street at Space. Richie Hawtin's ENTER. is a particularly tasty one this week. Things kick off on the sunset terrace with two of our favourite techno lovebirds, Adam Beyer & Ida Engerg who will play together at the sake bar. The power is carried inside as Dubfire, Julian Jeweil and Richie play the discoteca. But we think the Terraza will be sounding wonderful with Tale Of Us, Mano Le Tough and DJ Tennis on the bill.

Flower Power at Destino
Friday 8th August
Flower Power goes au natural this week, moving this popular party outdoors to the open air venue at Destino. A Pacha owned resort, still expect all of the over the top glitz and glam you would traditionally find at the club. Perched atop the cliffs of Cap Martinet, the poolside dancefloor features stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Formentera making this picturesque venue the perfect backdrop for photos documenting your finest hippy chic outfits. This Friday is the only time this year that Flower Power will be held at Destino, making this typical Tuesday night soiree a very exclusive event. The fire keeps burning this evening during the highly celebrated Fiesta De San Ciriaco in Ibiza town, where locals ignite a spectacular firework show at midnight. After your boogying concludes, relax on the edge as you will be one of the privileged few with access to the amazing view of the firework display.

Friday 8th August
Amnesia terrace was left in fine hands over the past few weeks with Joseph Capriati filling Marco Carola's absence. Claiming his throne, the king is back and returns to the terrace for a much anticipated all night performance. Carola's cronies (Monika Kruse and Mar-T) will be taking the main room giving us that infectious hard heavy techno sound we have all grown to know and love Music On for.

Movement Ibiza : Lost In A Moment at DC-10
Saturday 9th August
The beloved doors of DC-10 open for one additional night in August, this week by one of the defining labels of the moment, Innervisions. This is the first time Dixon has brought his ‘Lost In The Moment' series to Ibiza and we can expect nothing less from him then to rain us with his deep house and emotive technos sound. Innervision family members Gerd Janson and Ame will be joining him for this special event as well.

Sunday 10th August
Concluding the weekend, Space keeps their ears pointed in one direction, German techno. After a painful absence this season, one of the original Cocoon heroes Loco Dice returns for a very much anticipated birthday performance. Dice left no stone unturned last season, playing pretty much every major club on the island which inevitably stretched himself too thin. His return this season comes with much hype, therefore making it no surprise that he returns to the best club in the world - Space! Warming up the sunset terrace, Dice is joined with a live performance by Martin Buttrich. The techno take over will be accompanied by German techno pioneer Chris Liebing and Circo Loco resident Cirillo who are just two of the many noteworthy acts taking charge of the Discoteca. Dice continues his fire in the Terraza with the heart of the gang, tINI and a live performance from Guti. As the buzz of his return continues to flourish, we are expecting this one to be extremely packed!
