Balearic Outdoor Adventures and Odisea Ibiza launch new sea-and-land excursions

The Balearic Odyssey allows participants to explore some of Ibiza's most remote locations.

Balearic Outdoor Adventures and Odisea Ibiza have joined forces to launch The Balearic Odyssey, a new excursion combining a boat trip with guided coastal exploration.

Departing from San Antonio, the experience pairs Odisea Ibiza skipper Greg with Balearic Outdoor Adventures founder Stivi, Ibiza's only UIMLA-certified mountain leader. Together, they offer participants the chance to discover remote coves, natural pools, sea caves and viewpoints that are often only accessible via lengthy hikes.

The standard route follows Ibiza's rugged north-west coastline, passing landmarks such as Ses Margalides, Cala d'en Sardina, Cala d'Albarca and Ullal de Na Coloms, also known as the Cave of Light. Depending on sea conditions, an alternative route explores the island's south-west coast, including Cala Conta, Es Vedrà and Sa Pedrera de Cala d'Hort, better known as Atlantis.

Unlike a conventional sightseeing cruise, The Balearic Odyssey includes several optional land stops where guests can leave the boat and join short guided adventures ashore. Activities may include scrambling to viewpoints, exploring hidden corners of the coastline, snorkelling, cliff jumping and swimming in natural pools.

The excursion is available as a private charter for groups of up to six people, with larger boats available on request for bigger groups. Open group departures take place weekly on Thursdays from 16 July until mid-October.

Trip prices start from €200 per person for open group excursions and €1,200 for private charters. Drinks, snacks, snorkelling equipment, paddleboards and other onboard amenities are included.
