Last year Pete Tong celebrated 20 years with BBC Radio 1 and marked his return to Pacha after a 3 year residency at San Antonio club Eden. Wondering what else the music mogul can do to wow the crowds and entertain the masses is a task in itself but having confirmed that he is back at the newly revamped Pacha this summer as well as just announcing his full line-up, 2012 looks set to be a blinder.
Intent on making an impact with his return to the White Isle, Pete Tong will begin his season in style on Friday 25th May with island favourite Calvin Harris and Renaissance man Jon Cowan joining him in Pacha's brand new hydraulic DJ booth. Throughout the season Pete Tong will not only welcome some of the biggest names in the industry to party with him but he will also cater to a diverse spectrum of musical tastes. Artists from the worlds of trance, electro, progressive, techno and underground all feature on the 'Pure Pacha all gone Pete Tong' line-up for 2012.
For the island's progressive house and electro fans Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Thomas Gold and Dirty South will each be making an appearance over the summer. Underground boy Jamie Jones will join Seth Troxler, who uses a whole realm of influences and unique sounds in his music, on the 21st September alongside Pete Tong himself. Eats Everything will be munching on some filthy basslines on the same night that Maya Jane Coles will takes us deeper and deeper to close the season on Friday 28th September.
Over the summer the king of the airwaves will also be joined by Sasha, Groove Armada, Aldrin, Guy Gerber, Reboot, Paul Oakenfold, Kaz James, Booka Shade, Tiefschwarz, Madeon, Funkagenda, Angel Linde, Jacques Lu Cont, Tara Van der Voorde, Laurent Garnier presents L.B.S. and Trentemoeller.
Each week Pete Tong really will be offering something new, diverse and fresh to Ibiza's party calendar and with a stella reputation, discography to impress and music pumping through his veins we are expecting big things!
