Today marks three weeks until Drum & Bass returns to the While Isle.
Following the departure of Together, the genre has been without a home on the island, but that is being put right by Louder Ibiza. The outfit will be looking after Monday nights at Eden in San Antonio.
Counting down to Louder's huge opening party on 6 June, we handed control of our aux lead to one of the headliners, Hybrid Minds. Throughout summer, the duo will be appearing a further five times.
Selecting some of their favourite current tracks, the pair are the first to launch our Drum & Bass playlist. Here's the type of music you can expect to be hearing on Mondays at Eden.
Hybrid Minds Drum & Bass playlist takeover
Birdy | Deep End (Hybrid Minds Remix) | Atlantic Records
"We have been fans of Birdy's voice for many years and it lends itself to Drum & Bass so well. This one has been getting a great response. We might even have some originals in the pipeline..."
Camo & Krooked and Mefjus | Overture | MODUS
"What a link-up! The amount of Austrian genius in this track is a lot. Such an epic intro with a massively weighty and interesting drop."
Reflekt | Need To Feel Loved (Matrix Remix) | Altra Moda Music
"This is just full of so much energy its such a joy to play out. The build up and drop is a perfect balance of power and vibe."
Fred V feat Lottie Jones | Radiate | Hospital Records
"Whenever Fred V & Lottie Jones work together, it's exciting for us. He musically matches her tones so well it always ends in beauty. It's all about Drum and Bass packed with feeling and emotion for us."
Netsky & Montell2099 | Broken | 541
"We are really into intros and verses at the moment and this is a prime example of that. Brilliant song writing with an anthemic drop. Loving the '80s vibes, it's like if The Weeknd made Drum & Bass. We love it."
