Don't know about you lot, but we've missed Flying Circus. We said it several times last year, but we'll say it again - Flying Circus was one of our favourite parties musically. The combination of DJ sets and live performances from the likes of Carl Craig and dOP made for one of the most forward thinking parties on the island and we're looking forward to them returning to the island this season.
The fact that Flying Circus will return to Ibiza this year at the island's coolest underground club - Sankeys - has been known for a little while now. Whilst specifics on the Ibiza portion of the Flying Circus programme have yet to be announced we can tell you there will be some fantastic lineups from new talent as well as the old favourites and future legends. Expect big things from the party this year.
The party is now embarking on a 9 date world tour in the run up to the start of the Ibiza season, taking in places like Sankeys spiritual home venue in Manchester, UK... Peru, Mexico and Miami, amongst others.
Flying Circus in fact started life out of Miami, Florida, 7 years ago as the brainchild of Audiofly and has grown to host some fantastic parties around the world since that moment. Back in 2012 they hosted the Amnesia main room for Music On during its inaugural season, and more recently held a beautiful New Years party in Tulum, Mexico, just along from an ancient Mayan archaeological site. Throughout this time they have and will play dates at the various Sankeys venues that are now popping up around the world.
